Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) are a new and exciting development in the world of blockchain technology. These organizations are built on smart contracts and operate autonomously, without the need for traditional hierarchical structures. They enable individuals from around the world to come together and collaborate on projects in a decentralized manner.
One of the key challenges for DAOs is managing talent within these innovative entities. As DAOs are open to anyone, it can be a daunting task to identify and recruit the right individuals with the necessary skills and expertise. However, DAOs also offer unique opportunities for talent management, allowing individuals to contribute to projects they are passionate about and be rewarded for their contributions.
In the project, we will explore the world of DAO talent management, discussing the challenges and opportunities that arise in this decentralized environment. We will delve into the strategies and best practices for identifying, recruiting, and nurturing talent within DAOs. We look for a better understanding of how DAOs are revolutionizing talent management and the potential they hold for the future.
About the Research
The research examines talent management architectures within Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), focusing on the lack of understanding of these architectures for effective talent management. The study explores the architecture, processes, actors, determinants, moderators, and mediators affecting talent management's outcomes in sustainable DAOs. It proposes a decentralized model based on Design Science Research methodology and empirical studies, aiming to fill the knowledge gap by developing and testing new management models and methods within DAOs.
The study aims to explore talent management within DAOs, focusing on architecture, processes, actors, determinants, moderators, mediators, and the effects of talent management in sustainable decentralized organizations.
2
Methodology
The study employs a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, based on Design Science Research (DSR) and Grounded Theory (GT) including a comprehensive PRISMA protocol literature review, case studies, document analysis, interviews, surveys, and statistical analysis.
3
Findings
The expected outcomes include a prototype model of talent management for DAOs. This model aims to improve talent management practices, making them more effective and efficient, contributing to the overall success and competitive advantage of DAOs.
